BackSupporting Your Child with Emotional Regulation (sign up here)
Date and time: Tuesday 21st October 9.15-10.30am
- This workshop is aimed at parents of both primary and secondary aged children.
- We will be discussing what emotional regulation is and why it is important, as well as providing strategies and tools for supporting your child in being able to understand and regulate their emotions.
- Please note that this is the same workshop as the one we ran recently in September, but we are offering it again for those that were unable to join.
Online Parent Workshop – 5 Ways to Wellbeing (sign up here)
Date and time: Thursday 23rd October 5.30-6.30pm
This workshop is aimed at parents of both primary and secondary aged children.
The workshop will be covering:
- What is mental health
- What does good mental health look like in children and young people
- How can we promote good mental health in our children using the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' - Be Active, Connect, Keep Learning, Take Notice and Give
Online Parent Workshop – Emotional Based School Avoidance (sign up here)
Date and time: Wednesday 19th November 5.30-6.30pm
This workshop will be covering:
- What is Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
- What does EBSA look, sound and potentially feel like for Children and Young People.
- What does it feel like as parent/carers to have a Child or Young Person experiencing EBSA
- Top tips and strategies to manage EBSA
Please note that this workshop is an introductory session to the topic and is aimed at parents of both primary and secondary aged children.
Online Parent Workshop – Supporting Wellbeing During the Festive Period (sign up here)
Date and time: Thursday 11th December 5.30-6.30pm
This workshop is aimed at parents of both primary and secondary aged children.
The festive period can be a time of excitement for children and young people but also has the potential to feel overwhelming and challenging for some.
The workshop will be discussing:
- Why children and young people might find this time of year challenging
- Strategies to support your child to cope with difficult feelings
