Street Pastors
BackOn Wednesday 22nd March Year 9 had a visit from our local street pastors. The street pastors are a local christian organisation. who came in to inform students about the invaluable service that they provide to the local community. The students listened attentively as they informed the students of their volunteering service and what support they provide to the local community. As this type of voluntary service is part of the GCSE RE it was good to hear about it from those directly involved. Students learnt about the support available in the local community and also received safety advice about being out with friends.
It was a very informative session with students in year 9 appreciative of the information given to them.
