Year 10 GCSE Dance Workshop

Year 10 GCSE Dance were lucky enough to have Dance Lecturer Lisa from Havering Sixth Form College visit and run a contemporary dance workshop, focusing on technique and performance.

Students completed practical exercises in the contemporary style, as well as a short routine from Christopher Bruce's 1991 contemporary ballet Rooster, which is a compulsory set work from the AQA A-Level Dance specification.

Students were engaged and focused throughout the session, enjoying new opportunities to learn set works from a choreographer that they look at as part of the GCSE Dance specification.
