KS4 Trip to Paris, France
BackTues 14th - Fri 17th October 2025
Early on Tuesday 14th October, 38 KS4 Abbs Cross students, along with Mrs White, Mr O’Shea, Miss Buckley & Mr Damolekun began their journey to Paris, France for a four day trip where they would have the opportunity to practise their language skills and immerse themselves in French culture.
During the trip, the students were able to see iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe, as well as visiting the Louvre to see the world famous Mona Lisa painting and enjoy a shopping experience in the area of Montmartre.
Since, according to the students, no visit to Paris is complete without experiencing the magic of Disney, the students and staff also made their way to Disneyland Paris for a full day in the park to test out the theme park rides as well as watch the parades and 4D shows.
Many of the students enjoyed the chance to try French delicacies throughout their visit and they were proud of their efforts to converse with the citizens of Paris and practise their language skills. This was particularly evident during a trip to a French hypermarket where students were excited to see a vast range of typical French food products and practised their transactional language with the staff working there.
The students appreciated and enjoyed their time in Paris with many of them expressing a desire to return in the future to continue to explore the French capital.
Many thanks to the students for their excellent behaviour and conduct throughout the trip and to the staff who gave up their time to accompany them.
