On a wet and wild June 18th, Year 7 students went to Stubbers outdoor activity centre. They took part in a range of fun and challenging experiences that tested their courage and resilience.
Students scaled climbing walls as the rain poured down, honed their survival skills by making fires and building rafts, and conquered the waves on their paddle boards.
The weather did not dampen their spirits and their behaviour was a credit to themselves, the school and their families.
Thanks to the Year 7 team and all the other members of staff who attended (and got soaked!) who enabled this well deserved trip to go ahead and give Year 7 a great day to remember.
“Stubbers was the best day ever!”
“I didn’t think I would be able to do the high ropes but my group encouraged me by cheering me on. I’m so proud of myself.”
“I loved the paddle boarding. I wished we could have done it for longer.”
