Harry Potter Trip – January 2019
Lucy Tyler 7S
When we arrived they had to check your bags. When we went in there was a cinema and it had Harry Potter back to back. Then we went into the main hall where it had food and fire. It also has a castle built of ice. Then there were hands and their names and also there were trophies. There was a clock ticking and outside there was a snow machine and a house and a bridge which you can walk through.
The second part there was a huge castle. It was lit up on one side then you go around and it gets dark. There were also things to search for around the castle. Also there was a room filled with wands and then the gift shop.

I am really enthusiastic to continue learning about dance and would like to take this forward into a career. I love to perform, making people smile. I would like to work as a backing dancer, dance on a cruise ship or in the West End.
My many interests and hobbies include performing (I love to dance, act and sing) going to the theatre and cinema, travelling, theme parks, gymnastics and Parkour. I started with a local dance school, taking part in shows, competitions and medal classes when I was 5. I have been taking Ballet lessons at another dance school for approximately 6 months.
I enjoy the new sport Parkour and have been doing this since 2014 and I am mastering the skills within the sport. I enjoy doing gymnastics and attend a club every Sunday morning. Both sports keep me active and help me develop tricks/somersaults which I use in my dancing.
Details of my most recent achievements:
Winner of the Abbs Cross Annual Dance Off
Pauline Quirk Academy Trinity Exam Grade 4 – Distinction
The Association of American Dancing Modern Intermediate Bronze Star – Commended
The Association of American Dancing Tap Intermediate Bronze Star – Commended
The Association of American Dancing Lyrical Intermediate Silver Star – Highly Commended
